Dear Friend,
We decided to put an end to our Bookshop operation after settling in at the Hong Kong Arts Centre for over five years. The Bookshop’s last day will be 14 March 2014. To coincide with the closure, we are launching a clearance sale of all MCCM titles and other books starting this Friday 14 February through 14 March at The Bookshop. Our publishing arm remains unaffected. Please scroll down for more details (or you can download the bilingual message in pdf format here). Do help us spread the words and encourage your friends to visit us and take home some books.

July was a very busy month for us – a mini exhibition + two publishing and authors sharing sessions + two pop-up bookshop set-up + an exhibition booth at the Hong Kong Book Fair plus and a few new book releases! Tough but good fun.
We hold a mini-exhibition in Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery introducing all participants of the Pop-up Bookshop Gallery. Also, local artist Gukzik Lau’s work is exhibited too!
Thanks everyone for joining the launch! It’s wonderful that Errol Patrick Hugh shared with us his sketching experience. If you haven’t grab your copy yet, do come to our bookshop in Hong Kong Arts Centre!

MCCM authors Evelyna Liang, Kenneth Lo, Kith Tsang and Peter Cookson Smith shared with us how their visual stories were documented and told in their books. Our editor-friend Yang Yeung was the moderator! The sharing was amazing. The room was crowded with enthusiatic audience. They even helped us demonstrate how ‘lonnnnnnng’ our book Nathan Road is, ha ha!
同場我們搭建了一所流動小書店,展示一系列與香港本土文化有關的出版物。
We set up a small pop-up bookshop with lovely books of Hong Kong local culture!
